On January 26th, Klein ISD held their annual Pathways Summit and VorTX had a great time in showing kids our robot and encouraging students to join a STEM pathway. At Pathways Summit, there were many booths showing different clubs and programs from different schools that would eventually lead to different career paths. This event was held to assist students in planning their pathways to a bright future. Our team was super excited to be involved with spreading STEM to our community as well as introducing our team to our community!
It was great to meet with the superintendent of Klein ISD, Dr. Champion as well as Dr. Jenny McGowen and we were excited to present our robot, Tempest to them!
There were many students and parents that attended and were wanting to gain a headstart on their career paths. Pathways Summit did not just have robotics, but they also included informational booths on AP and IB courses, HOSA, Criminal Justice and many more.
If you weren’t able to attend this year, be sure to look out for VorTX next year and learn what path is right for you! We promise to help you find your purpose in life!
